The immediacy of the graphic, black and white image drew me into producing linoleum cuts, my influences many and diverse: Old World religious art, underground commix, Antonio Prophias (“Spy Vs. Spy”, Mad Magazine), M.C. Escher, early Funk & Wagnalls dictionary illustrations. All my limited edition linocuts are hand printed from my carved linoleum blocks.
